IP & Content Policy.
EIPX™ is engineered around provenance. Every listing above the Idea Tier is tied to a verified originator and a timestamped dossier. This policy explains what is protectable, what is not, and how disputes are resolved.
1. What EIPX Trades
- Validated business plans and financial models.
- Franchise systems, operating manuals, and unit-economics packages.
- Brand kits, trademarks, and creative assets with clear chain of title.
- Software, know-how, trade secrets, and documented processes.
2. What EIPX Does Not Trade
Raw ideas, unfixed concepts, and mere suggestions are not protectable and are not permitted as standalone listings. A protectable listing must be reduced to tangible form: writing, code, brand assets, or operating documentation.
3. Originator Verification
- Identity verification via a KYC vendor.
- Attestation of sole or authorized ownership.
- Timestamped dossier hash retained by EIPX as proof of first submission.
- Optional recordation with USPTO / USCO where applicable.
4. Seller Warranties
By listing, the seller warrants originality, non-infringement, and the right to license or transfer the asset on the terms disclosed. Sellers indemnify EIPX and buyers against third-party IP claims arising from the listing.
5. Buyer License Scope
Unless otherwise specified, an executed EIPX transaction conveys the rights expressly listed in the definitive agreement — no implied rights to trademarks, personal likeness, or unrelated seller IP.
6. Takedown Procedure
Rights holders may submit a takedown notice to legal@eipx.io including (a) identification of the infringing listing, (b) proof of ownership, (c) a good-faith statement, and (d) signature. EIPX will review within 5 business days and may temporarily suspend the listing during review.
7. Counter-Notice
Sellers may submit a counter-notice with evidence of ownership or license. EIPX may reinstate or maintain suspension depending on the record.
8. Trademarks
EIPX™, The Entrepreneurial IP Exchange™, and the Entrepreneurial IP asset class designation are trademarks of the originator. All other marks are the property of their respective owners.
